The mission of the Saint Mark Lutheran Church Finance Committee is to monitor all expenditures of the church and report the financial picture to the Church Council and church members. The Finance Committee works with the Treasurer to ensure that all bills are paid and together with the Financial Secretary ensures contribution records are kept up-to-date and accurate.

The Finance Committee works to acquire funding for special projects. With input from Council Committees, they prepare a draft budget for the succeeding year and submit draft to the Congregation Council for its action and later presentation for congregational approval.

Subject to approval by the Council, the Finance Committee is responsible for the congregation’s investment and insurance programs, as well as the congregation’s offering envelopes.

Karen Murphy is Saint Mark Lutheran Church’s Treasurer.  The Finance Committee is chaired by Craig Donohue. The Finance Committee meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the church.
